Startup PM: As the first product hire in two startups, I'm used to taking full product ownership from strategy to day-to-day delivery. I bring order to overwhelmed product teams and serve as the bridge that translates ambiguous organisational needs into impactful software at pace.

Designer background: I instinctively lead from real customer problems and insights. In both my PM roles, I've driven the use of user research and data to ensure product decisions are user-led. My favourite part of the job is discovering customer and stakeholder needs and translating them into well-crafted products and experiences.

Consumer app experience: Shipped iOS apps used by tens of thousands of consumers, including an Apple Editor's Choice product. Comfortable owning the full consumer product loop — acquisition, onboarding, retention, and subscription conversion.

Builder mentality: Long-time user of no-code tools — and for the past two years, AI-powered tools like Claude Code — to build products and prototype features. I'm excited to see the product manager role evolve; using AI tooling to rapidly identify opportunities and test real software with customers.

Experience

Product Manager (Marketplace)

Aug 2021 – Nov 2025

FixMyCar — UK's leading car-repairs marketplace

  • First PM hire, owning the consumer-facing marketplace used by ~100k monthly users and 2k garage partners. Led B2B and SaaS products as the company scaled from 40 to 100 people
  • Identified growth opportunities from behavioural and analytics signals. Led conversion strategy that halved pre-quote abandonment, increasing bookings by 30% and improving paid acquisition unit economics by 50%
  • Delivered two enterprise SaaS products and an external API from concept to launch, aligning stakeholders, shaping requirements, and ensuring GDPR, PECR, WCAG, and ISO 27001 compliance
  • Designed and led implementation of the analytics stack (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Growthbook, Metabase, Hotjar) and ran A/B tests to evaluate impact — including experiments that delivered 10% booking uplift and reduced no-show behaviour by 20%
  • Owned the roadmap and backlog across multiple products and teams, collaborating with commercial, operations, and leadership to drive outcomes-oriented prioritisation
  • Refined agile ways of working across design, engineering, and testing, improving delivery efficiency and team morale. The squad became a reference model for the company during scale-up

Product Manager (Health Tech)

Apr 2019 – Jul 2021

PSYT — Digital learning company focused on behaviour change

  • Brought three iOS consumer apps to market as sole product lead, achieving Apple Editor's Choice recognition and sustaining a 4.8-star App Store rating
  • Joined pre-launch, working closely with the CEO to find product-market fit and drive early traction
  • Established a product development practice based on user-led discovery and rapid learning cycles. Hands-on with user recruitment, interviews, UAT, and UX reviews. Mentored junior designers on user-centred design
  • Achieved ~20% subscription conversion (vs. a typical 2–5% industry benchmark) and doubled 7-day retention post-launch through qualitative research, rapid experimentation, and analytics-driven iteration
  • Designed and shipped a "daily unlock" mechanism to strengthen habit formation, informed by behavioural insight and refined with customers through prototypes and beta testing

Researcher, Design and Social Innovation

Loughborough University London

  • Researched how mission-driven organisations design and bring products to market in ways that achieve their social goals. Drew on economic transition theories and design thinking to develop a practical framework for practitioners
  • Designed and conducted qualitative studies including interviews, field research, and thematic analysis
  • Built frameworks and conceptual models explaining friction in services, user journeys, and organisational decision-making
  • Translated complex research findings into clear, structured arguments for academic and practitioner audiences
